Gibb was an adjutant to Winston Churchill (who was commanding officer) whilst they were serving with the 6th Battalion of the Royal Scots Fusiliers in 1916.
Card covers. 111pp plus b/w frontispiece. 6.25 x 3.75 inches approx.
Covers rubbed and worn to extremities and somewhat grubby, dusty and marked; internally some heavy foxing/spotting to first few and last few pages but generally very clean; foxing/spotting to page edges.
Overall, showing some wear commensurate with age, handling and storage but otherwise a quite nicely preserved copy of this uncommon work.
