Striking dustwrapper by Stuart Tresilian.
Hardback – title to spine and blind design to front board, in a dustwrapper. pp ix, 239, plus b/w illustrations. 7 x 4.75 inches approx. (178mm x 120mm).
Dustwrapper worn and rubbed, a few short edge tears and creasing; small loss to spine ends and corner tips; somewhat dusty/grubby and discoloured, especially to spine; heavily foxed/spotted to rear panel. Spine and boards a little dusty and spotted but generally clean; spine slightly cocked; some minor bumping to spine ends and corner tips. An ownership inscription in ink to upper corner of front free endpaper; pages a little dusty and marked in places, some age toning, but otherwise generally clean throughout.
Overall, showing some light wear but remaining a reasonably nice, clean copy – attractive in its dustwrapper.
