Hardback – publisher’s cloth with title in gilt to spine and title and decoration in gilt to front board, lacking a dustwrapper. pp viii, 320, including b/w illustrations plus colour plates. Size: 8.25 x 5.75 inches approx. (208mm x 144mm).

Cloth lightly rubbed and worn to extremities; light sunning to spine. Endpapers with offsetting; occasional foxing but generally pages clean throughout; edges of page-block dusty and spotted with some encroachment onto margins.

Overall, light wear but otherwise a particularly nice, clean copy – lovely.
