Hardback – cloth spine with marbled paper over boards, in dustwrapper. xx, [2], 153pp plus colour plates. 8.5 x 5.5 inches approx. (215mm x 140mm).
Comes with the original Folio Society mailer, albeit this example with no labelling.
Dustwrapper a little rubbed and worn to extremities; tear towards tail of spine resulting in a creased, triangular flap that had an old sellotape repair with staining – tape now removed and replaced with archival tape; reverse side also a touch dusty and marked from the marbled boards. Gilt to cloth spine dulled; cloth a touch mottled; pages a touch dusty but generally clean; plates clean and bright.
Nonetheless, a particularly nice, attractive copy – quite lovely.
