Originally published as X v. Rex (Collins Crime Club, 1933), this copy a film tie-in of the 1934 MGM production directed by Edgar Selwyn abd starring Robert Montgomery, Elizabeth Allan, Lewis Stone, and with Leonard Mudie as Mr. X.

Hardback in dustwrapper (in removable cellophane wrap). 254pp. 6.25 x 4.25 inches approx. (160mm x 110mm).

Dustwrapper showing some wear and rubbing; short edge tears and creasing, especially to top edge of rear panel with small loss; wear to corner tips; somewhat grubby and dusty most noticeable to folds and rear panel. Boards clean and bright with light wear to extremities; pages age tanned (cheap paper stock) with occasional tear and creasing.

Nonetheless, a particularly well preserved copy in dustwrapper – nicely attractive.
