Hardback – publisher’s green decorated cloth with lettering in gilt, red and black. pp i-viii, 9-132, [2], 9-147, [12] publisher’s catalogue, plus frontispiece to each story. 7.5 x 5.25 inches approx. (195mm x 131mm).

Covers rubbed and worn to extremities, especially spine ends; a little marked and stained in places; spine darkened. Prize label (dated 1905) to front paste-down; pages somewhat dusty and age tanned with scattered foxing; edges of page-block grubby and spotted; occasional open gutter but generally tightly bound.

Overall, showing wear but otherwise a reasonably nice, attractive copy.
