The second title in the ‘Joyous Life’ series from the publishers T. N. Foulis, the first four titles being published in 1911.

Card covers in a dustwrapper attached at the spine, with onlay plate to front panel. pp 32, [2] publisher’s list, plus four colour plates. 5.5 x 3 inches approx. (140mm x 78mm).

The dustwrapper has the first title in the series ‘The Gladness of Life’, but without the onlay plate, to verso.

Dustwrapper lightly rubbed and worn, dusty. A name and date to title page (in pencil?); pages a little age toned and dusty but generally clean throughout; tanned and offsetting to rear endpaper.

Overall, light wear but otherwise a nice, clean copy.
