A nice little pocket bible with wrap-round flap.
Hardback – leather with flap and capture-strap, title and decoration blind stamped to spine, blind rules to edges of sides, marbled endpapers, all edges gilt to page-block. pp [2] blank, [1]-839, [1] blank, [1]-252, [2] blank. Size: 5.25 x 3 inches approx. (134mm x 80mm).
Covers rubbed and worn but firm and holding well; grubby and marked. Large inscriptions in ink and pencil to front; some signs of pencil erasure to title-page; some foxing and dustiness to pages but generally clean throughout; occasional corner crease and handling wear to pages; spotting to edges of page-block, gilt somewhat rubbed and worn.
Nonetheless, remaining a reasonably nice, attractive copy.
