On Saturday, 1st October 2022 is the HORNBY BOOK FAIR open 10am – 4pm at The Institute, Main Street, Hornby LA2 8JR.

Around twelve dealers selling second-hand, antiquarian and collectable books and ephemera. There is a café serving excellent home-made food and nearby car parking.

The village of Hornby, with the River Wenning running through and overlooked by the picturesque Hornby Castle, is situated on the A683 road and within easy distance of Lancaster, Kirkby Lonsdale and Ingleton.

Also happening in the village is the annual Snowdrop Weekend at Hornby Castle when the gardens will be open to the public.
