Nicely illustrated and a lovely pictorial binding.

Hardback – publisher’s cloth binding, gilt titles and pictorial design to spine and front, the armorial bearings of Dumfries Academy to rear board. 320pp including b/w illustrations. 7.75 x 5.25 inches approx. (195mm x 135mm).

Binding lightly rubbed and worn to extremities. Offsetting to endpapers; front endpaper showing a little splitting to hinge but holding well; occasional foxing and dustiness but pages generally clean.

Overall, a particularly well preserved copy – quite lovely.
