Attractive leather binding nicely presented in a box.

Hardback – full leather with leather title labels and gilt decoration to front and spine, page-block with all edges gilt, sewn-in ribbon pagemark. 224pp plus colour plates. Size: 9.5 x 7 inches approx. (240mm x 178mm).

Light rubbing to tail of spine; spotting to endpapers, inscription to front free endpaper; pages clean. Box lid a little sunned/faded, label foxed and grubby.

Overall, a particularly nice copy – quite lovely – and unusual to find this edition without fading to spine or leather decay.
