Eighth title in the ‘Anne of Green Gable’ series, first appearing in 1921 from Canadian publishers McClelland & Stewart with the UK edition from George Harrap in 1928.
Hardback in dustwrapper. 318pp plus colur frontispiece. 7 x 5.25 inches approx. (190mm x 132mm).
Dustwrapper rubbed and worn; some edge creasing and with minor loss; foxed and grubby. Cloth boards nice and clean; offsetting to endpapers, dealer’s embossed stamp to front; pages foxed throughout, heavy in places; edges of page-block very foxed and spotted.
Nonetheless, remains a reasonably nice copy and uncommon to find with dustwrapper.
