Hardback – publisher’s cloth with title in gilt to spine and gilt device to front board, page-block with top-edge-gilt. pp xii, 338, [2] catalogue, [8] catalogue, plus four b/w plates. 8 x 5.5 inches approx. (205mm x 142mm).

Boards showing some wear and rubbing to extremities, bump to bottom edge of front, lightly bumped to corners; wear and rubbing to spine ends; cloth somewhat dusty and grubby, some loss of colour to spine; gilt to spine dulled. Some splitting to endpaper at front hinge but holding well; endpapers dusty, marked and grubby and with bookplate to front; pages dusty and marked in places, occasional foxing/spotting but generally clean; page corners creased and bumped in places; edges of page-block dusty and age tanned, gilt dusty and dulled to top edge.

Overall, showing wear but not such a bad copy at all.
