Number 778 in the Everyman’s Library series, in a later full leather binding.
Hardback – full leather with gilt title and decoration to spine, marbled endpapers, edges of page-block tinted green. pp xlviii, 317, 16 publisher’s catalogue. Size: 7 x 4.5 inches approx. (176mm x 114mm).
Binding a little rubbed and marked in places; boards lightly knocked to corners. Endpapers and blank leaves dusty and foxed; occasional foxing or marks to pages, a little dusty but generally clean throughout; tint to edges of page-block a little rubbed and worn.
Overall, showing wear but otherwise a good, solid copy – looks attractive on the shelf.
