Hardback – publisher’s decorated cloth and gilt titles. [12], 382pp, b/w frontispiece, map plate, 10 b/w plates (12 plates in total). 8 x 5.5 inches approx. (206mm x 140mm).
Cloth lightly rubbed and worn to extremities; a touch knocked to spine ends and corner tips; spine dulled; speckled and marked to front board with some light fading. Pages generally clean throughout but showing blotchy foxing on pages adjacent to plates; edges of page-block tanned and spotted; impression of paper-clip to top edge margin of frontispiece/title-page and adjacent pages.
Nonetheless, showing age related wear but remains an attractive copy.
