This edition not dated but would appear to be post-1922 when Carpentier lost his light-heavyweight title. Well illustrated with many full page plates.
Hardback – paper over boards, title and illustration to front board and publisher advert to rear. 80pp including b/w illustrations. 8.5 x 5.5 inches approx. (219mm x 138mm).
Covers a little worn and rubbed, dusty and marked in places; spine creased; wear to spine ends. A previous owner’s name and date in ink to front free endpaper; pages a touch dusty in places, some toning, but generally clean.
Overall, light wear but otherwise a particularly nice, clean copy.
