Motoring humour from the early years of the twentieth century. Along with similiar works also illustrated by Crombie, ‘The Rules of Golf’ and ‘The Rules of Cricket’, was produced to promote ‘Perrier’.
Hardback – cloth spine with paper covered boards, titled to front. pp. title page, twelve colour plates with advert to reverse, advertising page. 10.75 x 14.5 inches approx. (275mm x 380mm).
Boards grubby and marked; rubbed and worn; covers detached from page-block. Title page tanned; pages somewhat grubby and marked throughout; some occasional foxing; offsetting to versos; staples rusting; some creasing and handling wear with some pages ‘nicked’ to top and/or bottom edges.
Nonetheless, showing wear but overall illustrations clean and bright.
