Binding and boards a touch rubbed and marked, some scuffing to labels. Pages tanned and foxed, especially to first few and last few pages of each volume; occasional stain or grubby mark; some creasing to pages throughout, occasional short tear and small loss to corners; dusty.

Nonetheless, a good, solid set and reasonably attractive on the book shelf.
