Hereward the Wake – ‘Last of the English’

A lovely fine leather binding. Gilt tooling to spine and boards, emblem of Ulverston Victoria Grammar School to front board, marbled endpapers, and marbled edges. Bookbinder initials are blind stamped to inside rear board and appear to be ‘E.S.A. LONDON’.

Hardback- full leather binding. 373pp. 7.25 x 5 inches approx.

Minor wear and rubbing to binding. Prize label affixed to front pastedown; occasional foxing but generally very clean internally.

Overall, a particularly nice copy – lovely.
