Hardback – publisher’s cloth binding, blind embossing and two-tone design and with colour plate inlay to front. 409pp plus colour frontispiece and three b/w plates. 7.5 x 5 inches approx. (194mm x 129mm).
Covers worn and rubbed to extremities, boards marked/stained in places, spine faded and dulled. Page-block bumped to upper rear at spine-head; heavy foxing to endpapers and preliminaries, especially frontispiece; pages very tanned throughout mainly to margins; a little edge wear to plates where they protude; occasional corner crease to pages.
Nonetheless, remains a reasonably nice copy of this uncommon book.
