Hardback – publisher’s cloth with decoration to boards and spine, top edge gilt, decorated endpapers, rough cut pages. pp. 340 including b/w illustrations, [16]pp publisher catalogue at rear. 8.25 x 6.25 inches approx.

Cloth showing some wear and rubbing to corners and spine ends, starting to wear thin to rear hinge but holding well; boards a touch bumped to corners; a previous owner’s name in ink to front paste-down; page fore-edges spotted and dusty; foxing throughout with occasional mark/stain, some wear and tear, but generally pages are clean and presentable; occasional open gutter but not too loose overall.

Nonetheless, wear commensurate with age and handling but overall remains an atractive copy with bright covers.
