Inner board with binder’s stamp ‘Bound by Hayday’.

Hardback – full leather with gilt decoration to spine, boards and edges; page-block all edges gilt. xii, 210pp, [2] publisher’s catalogue. 7 x 5 inches approx. (180mm x 123mm).

Binding rubbed and worn to extremities and hinges; boards a little bumped to corners. Signs of bookplate removed to front paste-down, some splitting to front endpaper hinge; some age tanning and dustiness to pages but generally very clean.

Overall, showing wear otherwise remaining a reasonably nice example of a Hayday binding.
