Nicely illustrated, including the striking cover design, by Abigail Rorer. This edition first published by Folio Society in 2008 with this copy being a 2013 printing. A more recent edition, and now with illustrations by Angela Barrett, was published in 2019 as a limited edition and in 2021 as a standard edition.
Hardback. Publisher’s black cloth with title in silver to spine and decoration in silver and red to boards. Housed in a custom-made slipcase with black buckram ends and black Clairefontaine Ingres papered sides and inner lining. pp xv, [4], 355, plus colour frontispiece and eight b/w illustrations. Size: 9.5 x 6.25 inches approx. (240mm x 161mm).
A nice, clean copy – lovely in its complementing custom slipcase.
