Nicely produced and designed publicity brochure detailing the history and activities of the Lancashire cotton industry.

Card covers with title and plate inlay to front. [269]pp including b/w illustrations and colour plates. 11 x 8.5 inches approx. (280mm x 218mm).

Covers worn, darkened and grubby; some staining to front cover; spine very worn but repaired and holding well; inner front cover with repairs, some splitting to front hinges; yapp-style edges worn with significant loss. Date in ink to endpapers; previous owner details in ink to half-title; pages dusty throughout, some darkening and offsetting, but generally clean with bright colours; section tabs worn; edges of page-block dusty and grubby; the odd page with some cockling to edges.

Nonetheless, showing wear however remains an acceptable copy with, for the most part, clean and vibrant pages.
