Bristol Aeroplane Company Series IV Jupiter Arrangement Drawings 1923
The Series IV “Bristol Jupiter” Arrangement Drawings
Bristol Aeroplane Company Ltd
Photographs of arrangement drawings in an album issued to Mr. Fedden by the Technical Department of the Bristol Aeroplane Company, dated December 1923.
Roy Fedden, with his draughtsman Leonard Butler, was the designer of the Jupiter engine.
The title page appears to be handwritten, the contents page is typed in two colours, twelve photographs of the Jupiter drawings followed by a blank sheet then five photographs of other engine drawings. An unusual item. No provenance but presumably used for sales or presentation purposes by Mr. Fedden.
Size: 9.25 x 12 inches approx. (235mm x 305mm).
Album rubbed and worn to extremities, internally a touch dusty – otherwise nice condition.
