Hardback – publisher’s green cloth with title to spine and decoration to front board, in a dustwrapper. 95pp plus eight colour illustrations. 9 x 6.75 inches approx. (225mm x 174mm).
Dustwrapper foxed and tanned, particularly visible to reverse side; lightly rubbed and a little grubby to extremities; date written in ink to lower spine; fingernail puncture to front panel/spine juncture. Loss of colour and foxing to cloth on spine and top edge of boards, otherwise cloth clean and bright; front board bumped to corners. Endpapers foxed and spotted, owner’s inscription in ink to front free endpaper; pages foxed throughout – some heavy foxing to preliminaries and last few pages, spotting to edges with some encroachment onto page.
Nonetheless, remains an attractive copy with its striking dustwrapper.
